What's up?
Garlic and Ramps.
Garlic is doing beautifully and the ramps are simply marrrrrrrvelous dawling.
I have made some wonderful pesto and soup and added the recipes to Allaboutalliums.com
Onions are doing their best considering that the Earth Goddess has chosen to keep things cold and wet.
On another note, I have been checking prices for ramps. No definitive answer other than people usually buy them in bunches and those bunches are anywhere form $2.50 to $5. What you get in a bunch is also kind of sketchy. I guess it is what the market will bare.

How to cut an onion video
This is dedicated to my wonderful niece, Courtney, who said "blah, blah, blah" I want pictures. So here you go. It is a little hokey and the skins of the onion I used came off so I did not get a good handle, but I think it shows the process effectively.

Hello!
I am starting this blog to elaborate on my web site allaboutalliums.com topics. I'll give you more recipes and onion information as well as what I will have for sale at the market that week. Also any other odds and ends of timely info I think relevant.
So this is just a hello to get started.
